They have no customer respect either. Screw HBL (Porsche of Tysons).

LOL... Not sure which sales person it was but the guy was very rude. Too funny though! I take it the Arabic was telling him to go some where? LOL

Hey Jeremy - two things, they were rude, one when Allen and I showed up the sales guy screamed from across the parking lot if he could help us, the guys at the VW.dealership have more tact. Two, we ask where their GT3's are bc there were none on the lot nor in the showroom. So when we asked the guy stands up, thinks about it and says no. You know what, **** you HBL. Let others fall for their scams....

Allen and I will buy our cars from elsewhere. Haha.

I have had mixed experiences there. When I traded a car and bought my 996tt there it was pleasant with no problems, the salesman was nice and professional.

An earlier experience I was looking at a 993. The salesman was rude and watched me like a hawk, never even got to test drive it. They were very passive and seemed annoyed by my curiosity of the car.

Berk, I feel your pain. I live right by there but I will NEVER buy another car from them again unless the sales team changes. Plus they claim they're a large dealership but they have **** for cars. I've been to their so called "inventory" lot, they don't have ****.
When I went to go look for the Turbo S, the sales guy's response was literally "you and 50 other people" and then tried to sell me a Turbo Tip telling me it was the same car. Asked about the PanTT last year and they acted like they were doing me a favor if they had to locate one, needless to say, got one the very next day at Rockville. Rockville has been GREAT to me, gave me their one and only allocation for the GT2RS (coming in FEB), busted humps to locate CTT for my wife, basically took care of everyone I sent there.

HBL wasn't so bad about 3 years back, but I noticed the entire sales team, sales manager, and probably GM is all new.

Another X-Porsche of Tysons customer...

My latest Pcar - a 2011 GT3 - was ordered and picked up three hours away at Porsche of the Main Line outside of Philly because of the Tyson's mis-treatment despite having a history with them to include having purchased a new 07 and new 08 Turbo. I gave them a chance at the GT3....not even one-dollar off of MSRP was offered. The experience with real car people at Porsche of the Main Line (not to mention the BEST deal of any VA, MD or other PA dealer) has ensured they captured my Pcar business for ever.

Alex, that itself is unbelievable. What was weird was it was a lot of the same crew I saw today. I bought a brand new 01 boxster off the showroom floor at the time, then a 2 year old 996 C4S from them a while back. Both times I was treated like a second class citizen. This time, I don't fall for it. Looking forward to seeing your 2RS!!! My buddy in NJ gets his in Feb too from Flemington Porsche. They are doing a release party for him and I'm heading up. You coming out next Saturday to Caribou in Fair Oaks?

WOW!!! you too??!!

What are those guys thinking?????

Glad Mainline took care of you. I don't hear any other PCar dealers with these kinds of complaints. I feel like reporting them to PCA or Porsche NA.

I kind of got the same feeling from them when they had a black 996tt w/champion wheels on it forsale a few months ago; they wouldn't let me test drive it w/o running a credit check. I basically told them to **** off, how can one buy a car w/o test driving it, am I suppose to have my credit run multiple times just to check a car out. F that.

Hey Berk I went up there about 2 months ago to get a trade in value for the tt with only 6,500 miles and no issues on the car. 62,500. WTFFFFFFFF. I went to 2 other dealers and got high 70's for the car. HBL just thinks they can low ball anyone or jack prices up for resale. Berk next time you go there do a upper decker in their bathroom for everyone.

Hahahahaha....hey guys, what say you we overrun the dealer at our next meet. Park in every customer parking space and lock them down by browsing for 4 straight hours. Hey, we can enjoy some great coffee from their free keurig machine.

Sorry to hear you guys haven't had any good experiences with HBL. My family has never had a single problem when car buying from them. We have been treated great by Patrick who is one of the sales reps, but also have a good relationship with a few other of the guys. Mike, the GM is a very nice guy as well and has gone out of his way to help us whether it is offering us more for our trade in's and making sure we get the best deals on the new vehicles. I'm sorry to hear all these horror stories, wish you guys were getting treated just as well.

Berk, last time I was there about 2-3 weeks ago they had a 2011 Meteor grey (I think) GT3 in their warehouse thats right next to the dealership. Not sure if it were sold and they were just storing it until the owner picked it up, but they did have one somewhat recently.

Sorry some of you have had such bad experiences with HBL. Like Misanors4, my dealings with their sales department have always been great. I guess it depends on which sales guy you deal me. My guy, Jamie, is always responsive, so is Jim E, the sales manager. Actually, maybe it is good that you guys don't like to deal with HBL. This means less competition for me for the next "it" car .

BTW, Happy New Year everyone!!!
