I see this morning Red GT2RS on rockville pike with window sticker on the car
some one must be very excited in this area to have this car.

Wow. Just read this thread tonight and am happy I didn't read it before now as I would have probably waited at the Fair Lakes Starbucks all day yesterday awaiting a showing. But, I can say this machine was a no-show between 8:30 & 10:30a.

 

I was at Rockville Porsche today, it's still there parked out front.

I was at Rockville Porsche yesterday and looked over the car. It's absolutely beautiful with a sticker price of $258,000. The buyer backed out of the deal so it's available for purchase. I wouldn;t expect it to stick around for very long.

 

My buddy got his for like $252K.....in NJ.

 

Damn backed out??!! Did they happen to say if the one there is a second one or is that the only one they got/ordered?

Damn... he beat me to it... I was just getting my bank wire together. I think it's a bit much $ for what you get extra over the "base" model.... but if you're a collector who prospects a fair investment return on it (not likely) or have enough money to just not care than I guess who cares? And for a lot of big $$ casual collector / enthusiasts I run into I guess 250 really is chump change... like when you have a couple of Phantoms and Murcielagos in your stable already.... 250 is like "uhh why not"..... normal people like me.... RS bump is too much for too little IMO, walking away from it might have been a plausable thing to do, but I guess that might depend on the terms of your deposit as well

 

Another $70k would get you abarely broken in CGT.
