Like the title says, is anyone registered for the Friday at the track on the 6th? The event is already booked, but just curious if anyone local is headed up there?

 

Thanks for the reminder. I haven't signed up for a single event this year. Too busy with work to concentrate on the fun runs. Will consciously attempt to sign up for four track events this year. Hopefully hitting a new track each year. This year's goal is Watkins Glen

Luckily the season is just starting! I don't know if you've heard of the organization Trackdaze, but they have a weekend event planned on May 14-15th on Shenandoah circuit. Its $365 for both days which is much cheaper if you were to do two days through Summit, $500 for two FATT events. Also the sessions are ten minutes longer with Trackdaze. A couple friends and I are planning on doing it, camping is also permitted on the grounds which could be pretty fun.

If I go I will most likely just be instructing and not driving. FATT is a good event, I encourage everyone to addend, lots of seat time...and there are skid pad sessions we do with students as well.

 

Sunir, if you're free one session keep an eye out for me. I'm still in 1b right now, and I would love some helpful feedback. By any chance do you know Myhar? He's got a red S2k stripped out. He's been my instructor probably 70% of my sessions. I really enjoy working with him.

I know Myhar well...in fact I was his instructor when he was a brand new student in the green group for Car guys. He had an Evo back then and has since been doing track events regularly it seems...

 

evo's are great track cars... i hope

 

meh...like any car it's more about the driver and not so much the car at the level most students are in...
