Earth Quake
Some people at my work are really freaking out because we're back in the building (we had evacuated for about 20 minutes, and I'm on the 4th floor) and there's the potential for aftershocks. Am I naive for not being worried? I don't really see it as a big deal. Not trying to be a jerk...maybe it's just because I've never felt an earthquake before.

Felt it here too in Reston. On the 15th floor of a big glass building is uneasy too. We could see windows shaking at the buildings across the toll road from us. We have awful speed bumps in our garage and we can feel the floor shake when people hit those too hard. We thought it was just that until it got worse
All ok here though.

I'm right near you in Herndon Wes.. I definetely felt it.. I think shelving units on the other side of my wall were thumping the wall.. then the whole wall like flexed or shook or something.
Everyone ran out of the building hehe.
Definetely nerve wrecking(sp)...

I really felt it from the time it started, I am on the 18th floor of a 25fl building in Rosslyn. It was was a scary feeling when I felt ripples in floor and swing of the window blinds, not to mention that we have no brick walls it's all glass.(atleast most of it)
Thank God we are all safe.

I was in a collegues car heading to a meeting in Rockville...didn't feel anything, then we noticed people coming out of their buildings and we were wondering wtf!? We only found out because my collegues brother called him and told us what had happened...
