Had a roomate in college w 3 of them they were a lot of fun... And moved around quite fast! They loved hanging out behind the couch and are super flexible!

 

And I've had the cat for a couple Christmas' now... I just always put a stupid hat on him to make him mad each year lol

Ferrets are awesome pets, that's not one of my 2, they'd never stay still long enough to take a pic like that one!

What is sugar glider... Flying squirrel? 2 acres is a nice lot, how many animals do you have and what more do you want to need the further spatial expansion... Your situation reminds me of an ad I saw about the latest matt Damon and Scarlett movie ... We bought a zoo

 

Sugar gliders are pretty much like small flying squirrels... Neat little animals that can really imprint on you. They don't need much space, and make good apartment pets. How many we're you planning to get that ya need more than a few acres lol?

 

We had a couple ferrets in college. Better than TV, they are!!
