Is open again. It was closed and opened back to new management for those of you that care


No one knew it was open yet. I got to make 6 back to back runs. Usually its about 30ish min line wait to go. I've only been 3 times over 15 years and I am no drag racer; it's nickname was crapital raceway >_<;

I drove it as I brought it. Full gas tank, didn't play with tire pressure. It was a ***** keeping the car out the rev limiter on the early gears. It won't bounce on it at all; it just cuts power completely. You can see the car dip really hard on 2nd gear on the 2nd run.

 

This is great news! I knew they were going through some changes and it was closed for a bit. Glad its open again since its not that far from me and that usually where I go, but I still try to hit the private track rentals at MIR.

You kept getting better and better each time you ran, great job! What were your 60' foot times? If you can post the time slips that would be great!

 

On what day of the week did you go to Capitol, I heard that with the new management they've really cleaned up the lanes as well as ample VHT.

 

I need to get back to the track now that I've got a set of drag radials!

 

Ths is great news! I'll be heading there in the next few weeks as soon as I get my final flashes squared away and got the car running optimal.

 

I was there on Saturday. I'd say the track was in pretty good shape, but I'm not a regular so I am no expert on track quality

 

If I decide not to go to OC on this saturday, i'll be by Capitol.

So they've changed test and tune night to Saturdays instead of Fridays?

How's the track prep now. It was called crapitol before for a reason. I wouldn't mind giving the new management a shot.
