Sure thing, Sunir. I try to contribute what I can on English cars, but defer to you guys, especially on German iron!

Very cool! Thanks for sharing the info. Maybe I'll actually be able to learn and remember some of the things everyone shares!

Quote: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?! That's so sick, I wish I would have been there to see it.
It was a beauty for sure. I spoke to the two young VWoA guys. They said it is smaller and less expensive than the Golf R which they explained was a high price sought after car in Europe.

~256Hp also DSG transmission but front wheel drive.

I was hoping for a Golf R with a rear bias AWD and DSG - ultimate daily! but only available in quantities less than 4000 units in europe.

perhaps you can find one soon here in the US in a couple of years !

Regards,
Loay

I read a few years ago that if they brought the Scirocco to the US, it would cost around $40,000.

A special gathering of Corvettes today - Katie's special guest Dave McLellan, the Chief Engineer at Corvette from 1975-92, was there. Dave was responsible for the original ZR-1 project, among other things.

...I love that Ghibli!
