3rd Annual Castaway Critters Car Show
Ion I think that plan which I originally made in 2011 may need to be updated, I dunno how many folks are going to be at the pick-up at College park. I think maybe doing the following stop schedule for critters 2013 .... Note...I didn't include times but you are always spot on with times and distance calcs so if you can add those it would probably give a better idea planing wise. I assume Mick will lead the group from Tysons to Bmore, Cowan did this in years past and did a great job as a drive leader
:
Tysons
Baltimore (Hunt Valley CnC area instead of Bob Evans)
York (Kevin's house instead of Rutters)
Arrive final Distination - Car show

+1. Would like to make Kevin's as well. I have no problem sitting atop a on-ramp to tag you guys when rolling by. No need to stop for me.
are pets allowed? there is going to be THE pet judging the cars. of course they are.

So, if there is anything that may help one move beyond grief... it's bacon... and time spent with friends.
While we will all be feeling the loss of Michael very sharply, I am looking forward to seeing all of the VA/DC/MD crew for a spot of breakfast in the garage on the way to Castaway Critters.
I will leave it up to the planners of the rally from points south to figure out an arrival and departure time for my place so that the heard stays organized.
I am a few minutes off I83 one exit and a twisty road away form the Rutters we met at last year.
For breakfast I'll have scrambled eggs, bacon, some potato probably, bagels and pastries, as well as coffee and juice. Did I mention the bacon?
We can fuel up and then head the last 40 miles to the AACA Museum.
For anyone in this area that wants to pop over and then drive up, feel free. I'll have a better idea what time the victuals will be laid out once I know when 'the group' is coming in.
PLEASE can we have a show of hands who is going to be in the caravan up, so that I can get enough grub.
Thanks.

MTMD11, I have to commend you on your hospitality, you're certainly a rare breed sir, and I thank you on behalf of everyone on this thread.
We probably haven't met and I've been out of the loop for at least a year but will be attending my first critters event and will definitely be taking you up on Breakfast and to shake your hand in person.
Looking forward to the first major long over due event of 2013!
Mick
