- music timing with the closing of the door
- overall color transitions (red, blue, gold) for the various scenes

I also dig the end credit section showing the baby stroller gig, things like that are interesting to us non-professional movie types.

Keep up the great work, looked great and I am sure you had a lot of fun doing it!

Thanks for the awesome compliments!!! I find that coming from a (very) amateur photographer background helps ALLOT with setting up some of the composition that you mentioned. I also can't wait to get hold of a jib, quad-copter and other gear which will let me break up all the tracking shots.

I've learned so much from this first experience, and from here, I hope to outdo myself as I continue to improve my techniques, and more importantly - master the art of storytelling.

If anybody has any input regarding what type of cars or car movies they'd like to see, I'm all up for suggestions =)

Continuing on a similar theme to your first movie, it would be neat to have a movie where you flash between two scenes where your model (Heather I believe you said her name was?) is getting ready for a night out and a day on the track. Could do some prep time on the car as well (brake swap, tires, etc, etc). To me, that would be kind of a fun theme to run with. Could wrap it up with a cruise through a city scene at night and a few shots of a track.

Logistically of course, there are lots of challenges to that - but it might make a fun production. Might also play well with your choice of car (Lotus) which is great for both activities.

Rob - here's a video my friend Steve made years ago, inspired by the "Transporter" movies. It focuses more on the car than anything else but thought you might like to watch it for some inspiration.

There was also an 8-part series called "The Hire" that BMW made that was pretty good. Here's one as an example:

Holy Cow - That Hire series is freakin Badd ***! A quick google search reveals that those actually inspired the entire transporter series, which then inspired countless others, such as your friends clip. Awesome stuff, thanks for sharing - Need popcorn!
