We say goodbye to a fallen brother...
And the minute the key came out of the ignition the microfiber towel would be out as well! I always smiled to watch him eye every line of the car, daring a fingerprint to show itself, and then give it all another once over after every smudge and bug was long gone. One of many many fond memories that I'm thankful for. Such a tragedy to not be able to look forward to seeing him again.
For me, the last thing I will remember about Mike was at Fraggle's when he came up to me, put his arm around me and told me how proud he was of me for all the weight I have lost. I well up with tears just thinking about Mike. Always a kind word from Mike. He was a good friend and one of the original Crash Test Dummies (the name used for the original Bull Run members).
Mikey was a great guy. He would always approach me in Cars and Cofffee and yell out my Youtube name, "REALMCR12", the way he said it would always put a smile in my face. We talked about cars and anything Youtube. He was so interested in sharing all the cruises with others that he was planning on buying a new camcorder to record them. Last time I saw him was about a month ago. I will never forget that day when he offered me a ride in his car. I didn't even ask him for a ride. He was just so humble. RIP Mikey.
I could always count on Mike to give a different perspective and honest sincerity to any topic. His selflessness always impressed me as did his ability to put away plates upon plates of food.
Something to make you smile: Mike had a flip phone, so whenever I texted him I knew to wait a little while for his reply. No matter how much we tried, we could not get him to move up to a smartphone. We would joke that he can afford a Gallardo but not a smartphone and that we were going to take up a collection and get him an iPhone for his birthday.
.... we are going to miss you man.

Pretty blown away by this as well... I can't really say anything other than that he was always a pleasure to be around, always smiling, always personable, had great taste in cars, and judging by the outpouring of love and condolences, great taste in friends and acquaintances as well! Mike will be hugely missed by many many people, myself included, and that's about the best legacy that one can hope to leave when they pass from this world to the next.
Too soon, too soon
Too soon, too soon
