We say goodbye to a fallen brother...
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a fellow 6speed member, a close brother, and one of our true enhusiasts in the car community. Mike V. has left us today. Many of you know Mike from so many events we have had and he has been a part of them. Mike drove an awesome Lambo Gallardo which he had modified the suspension for better handling and apperance. He was a great car guy, who spent a lot of his free time with friends and car enthusiasts at all sorts of events from car shows, meets and gatherings, to bull runs, cruises and so forth.
Mike was a true friend. He was someone who was always happy and made you smile just by talking with him you would be in a better mood. He was very soft spoken and kind, and he loved talking about cars and was just as interested in what you had going on as he was to tell you about his car and his plans for it. He loved to laugh and was always in great spirits. Earlier this year Mike sent me a heart felt email about his father who had passed away recently and how this left him feeling quite sad as a caring son he was grieving but he still kept a smile on his face and was the happy go lucky guy we always knew. I knew things were hard for him, and that he was going thru some challenging life changes. The last time I saw Mike was at Fraggle's event late March. Just a few short weeks ago. Now Mike has left us and is reunited with his father, in peace and eternal happiness.
For those of you who knew Mike and even for those of you who would like to post something here to honor him and commemorate his life or say a few words or share a kind memory or time that you may have had with Mike please do so here.
thank you, God Bless...and Mikey we will miss you my dear friend. May you rest in peace.
Here is one of my fondest memories hanging out with Mike...this one is at Overlook in DC last summer during a NoVA Supercars outing...Chris, Mike, and I had just gotten a pretty knarly shot and a bunch of us had a great night, it was an epic outing!

It is very sad news, I'll admit I never had the chance of meeting Mike in person but had seen him at Katies a few times, condolences to all.
Life is way too short, so let this be a lesson to us all - enjoy every moment and when you are down just reach out....

I met Mike years ago when he bought his BMW 335i vert that he modded the hell out of. We did many drives together, shared many meals, and always talked cars. He was so happy when he bought the Gallardo, saying 'you only live once'. He was a good friend and the news was very sad to hear this morning.
I too got the email about his Dad that Sunir mentioned and know he was hurting. Who would know that that would be the last time I got to speak to him.
BTW the funeral is all in FL and if anyone wants details, let me know.
RIP 'Lambo Mike'

It wasn't that long ago that Mike was quizzing me on the GT-R and wondering if he should make it his next fun car. Such a great spirit and Sunir said it best, soft spoken and kind, a real genuine person. He was one of those guys that you never had to question his motives, he just really enjoyed hanging out and being one of the guys. A real class act!
RIP mike
I remember my first bull run/ first 6speed outing and meeting Mike. He was the first person to come up and introduce himself to me. Right off the bat I knew he was a really great person. I ended up behind him in the bull run in his 335 and had a blast that day.

Gina and I loved Mike and he had been to the house several times... We had a lot of fun together and was a regular member of the Bull Runs. He had a great heart and soul... Gina and I saw Mike at Fraggle's and I took some time to talk with Mike about his Father's illness and how he was coping with it. He told Gina he had hoped she would make her meatballs for Fraggle's event and Gina promised to make them for Mike when we met at Kevin's in a couple weeks. Gina and I will miss Mike a lot
I can let everyone know that Mike's father passed away last Weds just before Mike. I can't imagine the pain in Mike's family to lose the father and Mike in the same week. Our hearts and prayers go out to Mike's family.
If there are any details about the circumstances please share via private message - NOT ON THE FORUM...

RIP Mike
I too received his email. He was saddened by his dad's cancer yet he still showed concern for my own battle with cancer. We talked about how life IS too short! This is very sad news. I'm sure his sister, Mindi, will need our support and prayers as well.
God bless you Mike!

Very sad to hear the news. I just talked to Mike a few weeks ago at a C&C. He loved talking cars and medical things with me. Enjoyed drives with him too. He will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

Yeah it was always funny to watch him park the Lambo.
