Officially Tired of Snow

OK, I've had enough, and I suspect most others in the DC area have, too. In my area of Northern VA, we had between 13 and 14" of snow overnight. It started sleeting around 7:15AM here, so I had to go outside to shovel my driveway before the snow got ridiculously heavy.

So, even though I have shoveled my driveway, since our street isn't plowed, I won't likely be going anyway soon.

What really irritates me is, this is Thursday - there's no way the roads will be clear and clean this weekend... and it's a 3-day holiday weekend, too!

I love it Although I live in an apartment so I don't have to worry about shoveling a driveway.

I actually don't mind it terribly much. I stuck a measuring tape into the snow on my back deck and had a touch over 13". It took forever to dig out my driveway, and then I got stuck anyway. It did spur me to finally get some better tires for my 4Runner (current ones are utter garbage in snow). And maybe lift it, just because hahaha.

Shoveling was a nice workout, though, which I needed!

love the snow, timed it right and purchased a 4 door wrangler in September and that thing is a beast in the snow. Main roads are all clear, so you should be good to go.

Thursday I was drifting my John Deere while plowing 17" of snow in the driveway. You CAN break the rear tires loose despite chains - and the balance of it with the plow blade on the front is pretty funny.

I'm with you guys that are over it. I don't like to be cold and while I've been driving my cars, I don't like that the roads are so often gross.

...best part is that when the snow is gone...the car eating potholes will remain. Tread lightly.

Couldn't pass up a 54 degree day, snow or no snow.

Bit of gravel on the side of the roads, but not much salt on the roads at all with the run off.

Most enjoyable 20 miles I've had in a while.

Haven't driven it since end of November.... I was in serious withdrawal.

See you at Fraggle's in less than 2 weeks!!
