Minnesota: -15F Enough already!

OK, I'm having fun this winter driving my C4S. Great heating system, super seat heaters, and the blizzaks work fine. But I draw the line at -15F! Let's all move south. Who's idea was it to settle here anyway?

This kind of cold ensures a certain standard of living. Our lowest is damn good compared to a lot of the country. Have to look on the positive side of the insane cold we get.

Hey, almost neighbors! Grew up in Crookston, then school at UND. Stillwater is almost tropical by comparison!

My car was making very strange sounds for the first few miles today. I don't mind a lot of snow but it's this kind of cold that makes me want to move to a warmer climate.

According to channel 4. They say we should be finished with cold streaks, but may get a day here or there which is F'ing cold. This Wednesday is supposed to be very cold, but the rest of the week is better then we had the last two weeks.

Correction

Temperatures will fall to around 10 degrees by wake up time and a dusting of snow will have fallen. During the day on Tuesday the temperature will gradually fall from the 10 above that we start at. Wind chills will range from -20 to -10 and our snow will total about 1-2 inches by midday. Blowing snow will be a visibility and traction problem, especially on open roadways.
