Hey guys,

It's time for our monthly gathering of car enthusiasts here in the twin cities.
Last month we had a phenomenal turn out with about 70 cars from many different parts of the world.

Location:
Caribou Coffee/Einstein Brothers Bagels parking lot off of Shady Oak Rd and Hwy 62 in Minnetonka.
We'll meet from 9am to 11am.

This Saturday we are planning to add a small drive and Dyno day to the fun after the C&C.
Todd from APS in Shakopee has invited a group of us to go check out his shop and new Dyno. He will be charging $40 for 2 dyno pulls. Let me know if you are interested in attending so that I can give Todd an idea on how many cars to expect.

That was some pretty bad hail that came through the crosstown area.

I wish I could but it's still up on the jack-stands at the moment. With a bit of luck and determination, I should be able to bring it to the July meet. I can't guarantee it'll be running at 100% but I'll try to bring it next time around anyway. I'm hoping to get the Z/28 out of the garage this weekend and take that instead. It's a lot faster (in a straight line) than the XR4Ti will ever be!

By the way, I'm sorry to hear about the hail damage to your RS6, Tyler.

 

Thanks. I appreciate that. The car was at Carousel having some service done over the weekend. Just wish it was inside at the time of the storm .

Needless to say, I was numb when I got the call from Carousel telling me that the car was damaged in the storm. I always assumed that my car would be their (insurance company) responsibility, if it's in their possession. I was sadly mistaken.

Although there are a lot (50) dents, they're not very deep and can easily be fixed.

i feel your pain. my gf's FX was sitting at Infiniti in St. Louis Park, and it got heavily smacked. basically, every body panel except the passenger side doors, had heavy hail damage. the estimate came in at ~$6600. and just like you, the dealership said, thank you for your business, be gone now... "we're all in this together" ...god i wanted to smack the ****** f'ers head into the table...

we'll see, its going to be rough though, repairs will take at least 2 weeks.

Out of town for this months, have fun guys.

 

My brother car was sitting at a dealer getting work done and someone jumped the fence and broke in and stole his system. The dealer tried saying that its my brothers loss. After some kind words and maybe a few threats.... they covered the loss haha
