My wife and I purchased a 06 cabrio S conv new back in 06 and at the time there was an issue with the VIN plates. Mini installed the incorrect plates and the car had to be replated. For our inconvenience mini gave everyone an extra year scheduled maintenance and a few other goodies.

Now we are thinking of selling, does this feature add value to the car? Im thinking it would since you would have an additional year with no out of pocket costs. That plus it only has 10,000 miles on it.

i think it would add at least $500 to the price since the maintenance plan for 2 years cost $1300...
