KPV - Exactly right! Randy's Alta intake so far looks the best for performance. Ad scoops to the upper air vents and you have even more performance!

Yup, there's a company that just started coming out with them. Friend down here got one of the prototypes. Looks sharp and should help with some ram-air effect to the CAI. Will find the link and post here.

Ken,
Sorry about the confusion. Was using Bobby's computer and didn't realize I was not signed in!
Car above is definitely mine. These were taken the day before I hit the wall at Sebring. Front bumper is now back to stock till I find a full body kit I like.

alta intake

Glad to hear that you're getting your car back together, Minibeast.

So, I plan to go with the Alta for MINI-1. I had originally thought about the Rogue because it is also highly rated and I knew of someone that was selling an unused and unopened Rogue for a good price. But that didn't pan out.

I just bought a new, unopened Borla, not the loud one, for MINI-1, for $595 from a board member who sold their MINI to buy a
house. I know that the horsepower isn't as great as others, but I have a Magnaflow on MINI-2, and one loud MINI is enough! In fact, if I can equal or better the horsepower, I might eventually switch out the Magnaflow for something a little quieter.

Just got the 16" V-spokes for MINI-1, pulley and probably GIAC eventually to follow. Faster is definitely funner!!

Minibeast, in case you don't know my board I.D., I'm Michelle, the one who came down to Florida and bought Jim M's MINI.
