Alta Mini Performance

I have Sway Bars otw.
Anyone here installed them? I hear it makes the handling unbelievable even without lowering the car.

Most people only do the rear, are you doing both? From which company have you ordered?

The rear sway bar is one of the most popular suspension mods, the most bang for the buck, as one would say. Would love to hear your feedback when done. It's next on my list.

keep it on the rear. You dont need it in the front.. it's useless. If you put lets say 26mm front sway.. you have to put 25mm rear to even out the increase in the front.. 22mm in the rear is more than enough.... I hope it worked out for you.

a larger rear anti-sway bar is a good addition. how much bar one needs is a function of use and other mods. the larger bar helps reduce understeer, but this can also be accomplished w/ more front camber, a stiffer platform, air pressures, etc. i have a 19mm bar on the middle setting. i run -2.5* front camber and hoosier r-comps. the car is generally neutral w/ this setup, but i can easily induce lift-throttle or trail-brake oversteer when desired (on the track of course).

Lot's of interesting information I did not know... I have my Hotchkis 25mm in the rear set up in the middle, and I dont track the car.. but the handling is awsome. I guess i'll consult with a couple of mini tuners in my area before I head out for the track.
