Haha, that would be pretty wild - You could also look at the Hayabusa motor - there are some good conversion kits out there.

I had a '61 and a '62 back in '74. The '62 had an MG 1300cc motor and trans combo and still had the 10" wheels. This made the gearing way too short. It would give you whiplash accelerating off the line but would rev too high at 65 mph. I ended up seizing the motor from over reving on the freeway. No tach, I didn't realize it.

One of the funnest cars I've owned.

They weigh about 1300 lbs stock. A little more with the Honda vtec.
