Hi, I am a "Car Guy" in Portland, Oregon. I have owned a number of cars over the last 25 years or so, mostly British, mostly convertibles:


1974 VW Dasher
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle
1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster
1968 Austin Healey Sprite
1965 Sunbeam Tiger
1947 Dodge Pickup
1957 Austin Healey 100/6
1959 Triumph TR3A
1966 Land Rover SWB

1968 Triumph TR250
1968 Dodge D100 Pickup
1971 Jaguar XJ6
1998 Jaguar XJR
2001 Saab 93 Convertible
2001 Jaguar XKR Convertible
1938 Rolls-Royce 25/30
2006 Jaguar XKR Convertible
1980 Rolls-Royce Corniche DHC
2008 Bentley Continental GTC


The Bentley is my current car. Traditionally, I have done most of the work on these cars myself, but less so in recent years as I have young onset Parkinson's Disease.


My wife drives a 2010 MINI Cooper S and my daughter a 2004 Acura MDX.

The Datsun was my favorite. It was a little less pretty when I bought it.
