New member and looking for advise

Recently Purchased a 01 C4, and looking at new exhaust upgrade that works well with out compromising smog checks, or is better to have both and install the cats when needed. Also pedals, what is the best upgrade from stock. Also what is the best upgrades for more hp. I also upgraded wheels to 19" and have had it lowered as well, and experiencing tire rub on the corders in the canyons. will having the fenders rolled solve this or have I created a problem by going with 19" wheels? Thanks for any help with these issues in advance. Chirs

Welcome! If you're looking for some performance exhaust upgrades click here. As for smog, typically having an exhaust with a high flow cat will enable you to pass. Some areas emissions are more strict than others. That being said, if you keep your old exhaust, when it comes time to do emissions, you can swap the OEM one back on and then swap the performance one back on once you pass smog. (You can do this if you're wanting to do a completely catless performance exhaust as well).

If you lower it and add wheels, make sure to get a good suspension set up. I.E. springs/coils and sways. Things to stiffen up the chassis and avoid it from having too much roll/flex. Suspension upgrades can be found here. Pedals can be found here.

You can look at our parts catalog here to get an idea about some other performance upgrades available for your Porsche. If you need any DIY help for doing these installs yourself or other fixes/repairs you can check out our DIY tech articles here. Happy modding and let me know if you have any other questions.
