Hello everyone, just introducing myself. No Porsche yet but I've told the wife that we're getting one in the near-ish future. I expect my Mercedes W202 C55 project to wrap up here in the next couple years (tying up the interior this year and then paint/body next year) and I've started looking at 996 Carrera 2 cars. They are definitely in budget and I feel like a good example is an excellent "entry car" into the Porsche world without going for broke right away. I'm looking at stock, 6spd, reasonable mileage and turbo twists. I'm not looking for a unique or special option car but a good driver that we can maintain and enjoy. Anyway, that's it for now and I look forward to getting to know everyone a little better.
