Hello All / Minor Leaguer Joins Forum
Hello,
New to all this. Ive had a '09 997.1(.5) 6spd TT cab ((Has .2 interior dash and reared)) for about 3 years now. Bought it with 65K miles and figured I would keep it for a few years and sell it for something else after 3years or 10k miles which ever came first. Well three years just passed and Ive put 27k miles on it and have not intention of selling it anytime soon. Unfortunately its coming up on 95K miles and its starting to need a little more attention. As much as I love shelling out money to have it worked on, Ive actually had more trouble and headaches with the Porsche "qualified" mechanics Ive dealt with than I would have ever expected and on a number of occasions have had to re-do or "finish" the work they thought was finished. Anyhow, Im try do DIY as much as I can with my limited (currently) knowledge, expanding tool box and a quick jack. Ive never joined a forum, but admit I have gotten quite a bit of helpful information from this one so I joined. My hope is that I can spend less time researching an issue than I am actually working on my car. I Love this car and hope that I can keep up with its maintenance before it drains me dry.
Currently I have a P0195 intermittent code and P3081 Intermittent code. I would appreciate any thoughts. Im flushing and replacing coolant then sensor and thermostat if not resolved. Oil temp. Check connector, replace...
