it may be fast but i agree it´s buttugly, no class, not unique enough, looks like a hoover on wheels. looks are important to me so i would pick a sexy 911 or R8, even the less powerful versions, over it any day.

11.7 seems like the average time GTR's are getting with normal drivers.

It's running an 11.7 still, you got any vids of a 997TT at the track?

I like the GTR but I think there are going to be a lot of dissapointed GTR owners when they start running up against some real world cars like the Z06 and TT Porsches. I very seriously doubt you will get any comers because I think you are right, they do know who the boss is!

Thats some strong et for any car, but the mph is a little weak IMO. I think most stock TT 911's would have their hands full at the 1/4 mile with that GTR launch control. Roll ons on the street though, I don't think the 116 trap speed puts too much fear into the competition.

Never driven a 997TT so can't compare. But my butt dyno tells me this thing is seriously fast.

for those of you who call this car ugly. You seriously have to see one in person. While it does look ugly from certain angles ( reminds me of a 3000GT when walking toward it from right front side. ) It's absolutely gorgeous from the other 350".

And seriously, I don't care if it's faster then TT's. It's definitely a very capable machine.

Saw a Skyline this weekend, looks way better in person. Drives good to. You can tell its a little heavy, but I gotta say its way better then what I thought and I really like that car in person.

Most people agree that from a roll or top end, ZO6 and TT will beat the GTR. But at the track, GTR has advantage. But at these levels it really depends on the driver I think. All three cars are in the same league.
