2010 gtr

Will the 2010 gtr only be the spec v? Or will they have the standard GTR for this year?

They haven't stated yet whether the Spec-v will be introduced into the US market.

my dealer advised me that as of today, no Spec Vs are coming to the US and if they do, I am first on his allocation list. (I was one of the very first in the US to get my GT-R this year.)

May I ask why you wan't to spend the extra cash on the Spec V if you already have a GTR? I'm just curious to your answer.

No really its not its like asking

Why would you trade your 997s to a 997.2s? 996 and 997 2 diffrent car... and really the 997 comparision I did is not even accurate since the diffrence is very minimul...

Thanks everyone for all the help.

the differences are minimal, because the beginning product leaves little room for improvement without overshooting the end goal.

with the additional power, better suspension, brake cooling, better brakes, better tires (marginally), lighter components (about 100lbs), a moving carpet for a backseat, and still daily driveable with all the creature comforts of the stock car, how can you say no?

um, like this " HELL NO!" The day I spend a 160k for a Nissan let alone a 80K nissan with mainly bolt on parts, hell would have frozen over for the second time.

well, it doesn't sound like you're an interested buyer, or else you'd know that even it was sold at our shores that is not the asking range. so i'll save my fingers the trouble of trying to explain the different embedded taxes that exist in the japanese market, that don't appear in ours, which would lower the cost to around $135-140k. like i said, if you were actually considering it, instead of just spreading rumors/lies/unfounded opinions, you'd probably know this.

and perhaps this isn't directed specifically at you, but rather everybody who just doesn't have factual information about the gt-r, except what they read on the interwebz.

I would purchase the normal GTR model only because I would modify the platform. If I were to leave a GTR stock, then I would consider the spec-v.

Spoken like a true NON-enthusiast. The badge a vehicles carries should not be a determining factor of its value.

incredibly accurate... i just felt it necessary to point out that it will have extra power.

the boost is only going to be raised about 2 - 2.5 psi... which nets about 550hp (approx), that all of the magazines have speculated up to this point.

this car is going to be impressive... just not enough for me, personally, to warrant the price tag.

I can't agree with the price tag either for what they have changed.

Have they stated what the max psi the base GTR motor can handle is? I really feel the car isn't at full potential from the factory, their is still power to be made and available with out much modification.
