Porsche 911 Vs Nissan GT-R (R35)

I really like both cars when it comes to performance...but when it comes to safety, I feel more safe inside the GT-R, this car has everything...you can even drive your kids to school!, and the trunk is huge...but if you like the Go-kart feeling of a Porche 911...go for it is Fun!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWAficaFl3c Check this Video and look at the Test drivers face after he drove the GT-R, he looked surprised and in disbelief that it beat the other two cars...wow! what a car!

Although that review is old, it's good to hear, yet another satisfied GT-R owner, that has actually driven both cars.

My kids fit inside the car as well, the wife uses it to drop my oldest son off at school while I'm out of town. She loves the car.

When I go auto-x'ing, I can fit a 12ft canopy folded up in my trunk along with chairs a tarp, helmets, and all kinds of stuff. The size of that trunk is amazing.

All of that and a HDD for your MP3's...

When did you get your's?

I got to drive a gt-r, it's surely a unique monster, in person it's much larger and looks bulky, but that feeling dissipates ones your open up the throttle I still prefer my turbo over the gt-r though, I just love rowing through the gearbox and like the OP said turbo has this gocart feel to it which is awesome.
I will most likely pick up a face lifted gt-r

They need to put the GT-R against the 911 GT-2.

I admit GTR feels safer.997tt looks much smaller size than GTR from both exterior and interior.More suitable than 997tt as a daily driving car.

but it larger so created more drag resistance from higher speed. If you test both stock car for a 60-130mph run.997tt will definitely get a shorter time.

It's already been done. But WTF???

A $80k car vs $200k car?

480hp vs 520hp?

3900lbs vs 3200lbs?

What kind of outcome would you expect? The GT2 (at least on paper) has almost every advantage in the performance category (omitting the drag coefficient).

I fail to see the parallel between the GT2 and the GT-R. Was somebody cross-shopping these two, and couldn't decide which one to buy?

After the mark-ups on the GT2, the costs aren't even in the same atmosphere.
