use the R34 RB25DET NEO HEAD = same and a lot better then the HKS V-cam set up. the head studs will need to be drilled for the RB26 head studs but you will be blowin away on the Power gain.

this goes the same for the valve train and its a solid lifter not a hydraulic ones as the early model Rb26's.

??? Never heard of this in five plus years building these cars.. I think there was a single tuner in japan that did that. I just want to prevent floating.

just follow what I said on the use of the head and parts much better then the aftermarket stuff. if its lighter then factory in the aftermarket stuff just remember it will not last. Worse 97% the after market stuff is not R&D tested where the factory spends years on testing it before it goes into a production car.

also look into the RD28 crank and 90mm bore on a RB26 set up

do not use the RB30 as its max rev you will get out of it is 6k where as the set up I mentioned us a RD28 crank + 90mm pistons and some carillo rods will give you the bottom end you want.

and if you can look into it = reverse cooling using and electric water pump set up.

Okay so honestly what are you talking about. The rb25 valves are smaller. I am not replacing valves but instead the springs and retainers. Also the rd30 is a waste of time and money when the bullet proof os giken is almost the same price.

My rb is already bored and built bottem end with very extensive head work. I hate to disagree with you but what is your goal 1400hp cause if not then your spending to much time and effort on a motor that is capable of doing 800hp reliable all day long.
