New Switzer parts arrived today
Well, I have seen some numbers in the low 8's without the downpipe, which you have and I have read that really wakes up the car.. So you might actually do that
How can you compare the sound of the exhaust with say, a catless aftermarket exhaust of a GT2 or Turbo? Louder?

That would be impressive...but I don't think it'll be that fast. The stock turbos have their limits. I'd be happy with consistent mid 8's....which is about average for a stock C6 Z06.
I should have some numbers soon.
P.S. - THE NEW EXHAUST SOUNDS AWESOME! It's not overly loud at all and no drone whatsoever. However, it sounds very crisp and mean under WOT.

That's very quick, but I'm not trying to break any records. I'm only running a cat-back with a conservative tune on stock injectors and moderate boost.

Sorry didn't realize that!
Good to know. That's the first setup I'm getting when I get my facelift GT-R and I'm looking for a quiet yet non-restrictive exhaust as possible. Going to be a daily. Your feedback will help me a lot
Thanks!
Thanks!
The specific exhaust setup that I have is EASILY daily-driveable.
Hi Scott! Just stumbled across your thread after a long absence from 6speed. Now I'm no gambling man but I recognize patterns. Is anyone else ready to place bets as to when he will set a new record and how long before he relents to race fuel tune, larger injectors, high boost and downpipes?

Do you have a link to this thread? Thanks.
EDIT: Never mind, I found it. He ran a 7.6 on 100 octane, unverified. I'd like to see his graph to measure what the decline was, but it is still a very good run, regardless.

I'm curious to see what I get on 100 octane when my tuning is done.

Thanks for clearing it up, I thought i saw in his Sig 6.9 before he changed to the greddy kit.. well either way 7.6 is pretty good!
I hope to be in the 4's with my setup ..we will see!

Good to see you posting again, bro. I hope all is well.
I only have a cat-back and a tune, so I have my work cut-out for me!

It is an awesome kit and amazing bang for your buck. Night and day from stock GT-R and you have the Switzer peace of mind.
