Done for the evening. More software adjustments and then back on the dyno, potentially this week.

Congrats on the numbers Scott !

1090 with 10.1 , means a lot left on the table.. IMO it can make 1150-1200 thats not the issue I'm worried about...

Unless Switzer has figured out what AMS and SPE have not... not sure the block will stay together for too long with real abuse( knowing scott he will put it to the test)

From what i have seen from a couple 1150+ ..the blocks crack after VERY VERY LITTLE abuse ..we are talking 20 passes max.. (not counting break in miles) and im not talking about 1000/800 setups..

either way should be a fun ride!

Just tweaking some things on fueling and ignition, pretty much making 1100 at 7K, and that is with less boost than the R1K did...

Jamie had a chance to bring the lambo by the other day and run it against a regular R1K GTR, I guess you chickened out?

****....if I knew Tym was going to take out an R1K to run me yesterday I would have backed up my Boston flight! I just got home....tell Tym to change his slippers and meet me in 45 minutes.

Do you know for a fact both Hing's and Tim's cars made 20 passes before they blew up? I was under the impression they each only had a handful of passes on their latest setups....

Just estimating between a full day of dyno testing,street test driving and a few passes.. MY POINT was they crack once pushed to over 1100 -1150 ..will it pop on the first run or 50th?.. either way , thats NOT something i would feel comfortable knowing its on borrowed time

but I'm sure the big shops will figure it out..

BTW , Hings car never blew up , it was SPE's shop car.. Hing stopped after he saw what happened
