Switzer R1KX on the way
Put that thing on RWD on a dynojet and it probably makes 1350-1400.
Yes, buschur's dyne is known as the heartbreakers dyno...
Neil is on vacation so here's an update:
Street tuning was completed yesterday and the car is running phenomenally well. Tym says that just on the gates it's pretty ridiculous. He also did few pulls at 37-40 psi and said it's by far the fastest GT-R he's been in to date (no surprise there). He also said drivability is like a stock car, which is what he's happiest about. The transmission is shifting well and so far, the Promax clutches are holding without issue.
Today he drained the oil, pulled the plugs, cut the filter in half for inspection, and performed leakdowm and compression testing. Leakdown resulted in a maximum variance 4 psi between all cylinders and compression was equal all the way around. Both of us are thrilled with these initial results.
We still plan on getting the car to the track before it ships back to me and this thread will be updated when it happens.
More to follow...
