Switzer R1KX on the way

The heat and humidity here has been miserable. Hell, if this were my car, I would wait until fall to run it.
Yeah, for those wondering, at considered facilities last week the DA was 3500-4000' at tracks between 700-1000' above sea level.
If we are going to take the time and resources to spend a day at the track, we are going to make it count, I think that goes without saying.

That's understandable.
Just sitting in staging in those temps/humidity can be unbearable.
I'm sure this car will perform, but I can also understand everyone getting antsy for some results.
I'm sure it will be worth it.
Good luck.

I go back to my nitrous suggestion that was challenged by a few who laughed at my suggestion about the intake air cooling properties... A small shot (100-200) would help a lot in these temperatures!

SPE ran in 5000DA a few months ago in vegas ... it was brutal 9.2@ 156 on 33 psi ..IIRC on full tilt (38psi) they made 1198whp on a mustang dyno.. Had the engine on the spe car not let go, Hing was going to run it on KILL mode... which would have been close !
anywho.. yea its beyond HOT across the country
