Picked up my Switzer E900 GTR...Thoughts / impressions / comments!!
Man, where do I start?
When I sold my TT Gallardo and purchased the GTR, I really did some research and spoke with AMS, SPI, and SPE in trying to figure out who I should choose as a tuner for my build. ALL TUNERS came off as very professional, stand up, and class act, but I felt SPI was best for me, and I will leave it at that. Again, I am sure all tuners would have done an exceptional job. Ok, now for my experience with Swizer...I will try to keep this concise and not too dragged out.
Having been one that has dealt with many tuners before, I will say that Swizer's customer service is like none that I have experienced before. As busy as these guys are, Ethan was always able to get to all of my questions / e-mails within a 24 hour period, most of the time replying back to me within an hour. And believe me when I tell you I had many/MANY questions, requests, etc. (maybe 50+ e-mails? lol) Neil was also available online and had all my questions answered. A++ to the initial customer service I received
Just before the car was finished and ready for me to pick up, I received an unexpected type of phone call from Tym. Basically, he explained to me that he just finished going through and studying the internals of another E900 on the stock motor, and that after his findings, he just could not, in good conscious, let my car go knowing what he just discovered. Neil Switzer was quick to inform this fact to the GTR community (see my build thread - Page 9, post 163) which IMO, portrays Switzer's selfless character and their willingness to put the customer first despite the possibility of losing out on a a business package they provide. MUCH KUDOS to Switzer for this! So after some talk with Switzer, it was then that I opted for the Stage 1 engine build.
Fast forward to yesterday, I picked up the car and let me tell you..............FEROCIOUS!!!!!!! Oh my god this thing is a beast! I thought my TT Galalrdo was fast, jeesh. I went out with David as a passenger for the first time driving the car, in 80* humid weather, blowing the stock tires off in 2nd gear, and on a COMPLETELY flat road and ripped off a 5.5 60-130. I have no doubt in mind that this car with just myself in it, in cooler weather with a tire on it that it will hit a 5.0-5.3.
The car drives like a stock GTR. The idle mimics a stock GTR, and when cruising at speed, one would never question the fact this is a modded car...quiet, comfortable, and easy to drive. A true street car in every way, IMO. Tym did a phenomenal job tuning this car and I am a VERY, VERY happy Switzer customer. Heck, after I got the car and even this morning, i am still getting texts / e mail from Tym, David, and Neil asking me how everything is, is everything OK, etc. If that isn't customer service, then I don't know what is!
In conclusion, it was my pleasure and I immensely thank the Switzer team for everything they have done for me, and I also want to thank David Kim who also answered any and all questions I had about this kit. David, it was a pleasure to meet you yesterday as you are a class act, and I hope one day I am able to have 1/10th of the collection you have, lol.

This car definitely feels stronger than my gallardo. I will get some dedicated 60-130 runs soon and post the results. =)
