Gtr pricing ?
They do exist, but very rare. You might find that price if somebody is just trying unload one (or somebody screws up an ebay auction).
The average price I've seen is around $65k. I have, however, seen as low as $54k (private sale), and as high as $80k for an '09. So the range is pretty wide, but they seem to be holding their price very well (not good for the buyer).
I honestly thought that once the new 2012's came out, that the price of the CBA's (09-11) would drop. That doesn't seem to be the case.

Between the '09 GT-R and a 997, I'd say the 997 rides a little better, and seats offer a different kind of feeling (not really better or worse).
It depends on your preference. The suspension improved on the later models (I'm not sure if it was the '10 or '11, I forgot - since I was never really in the market for either), to make the ride more smooth, without sacrificing performance.

I have a friend who just picked up a 2012 for $86k. Given that i coudln't imagine paying $65k for a 2009 with the pesky warranty and lack of warranty if you hook a cob up to it.

How about this one? My friend is looking at it. Rumor has it the dealership will take 60-65K.

Sounds like some great deals out there and something to think about...hmmm...anybody heard or can point me to when Nissan is changing this body style?...didn't mean to hijack this thread so just point me to where I might get some insight on the next generation GT-R...thanks!
There is no release on 2013 changes as of yet Nissan fiscal year ends in April from what I've read.
2012 models started showing up I wanna say around march his year so expect 2013 models around that time.
History has shown slight changes in power, amenities and exterior with of course price increases.
Most available info I've found is on NAGTROC.org
