I could care less what they changed. I'm sure my '07 thats properly tuned is faster than the 2013 GTR and probably still spend less money altogether than the price of the 2013 car! For reference, they have raised the price close to 50% more than what I paid for in the end of 07 and I had the car before everybody else.

To be honest, I am not sure if you will be able to upgrade a 2012 model to a 2013 at this time based on previous models as described. This maybe a good reason to sell your old GT-R and buy and 2013!
Nissan is not offering a 'refresh kit' for us CBA owners. And there is no reprogram of the LC available either.

But like we could upgrade the aero with the '12 pieces, I'm sure you could upgrade the suspension, cf strut bar, etc..., but at a steep price that I wouldn't pay (because, for me, it's not worth it - which is why I haven't traded mine in).

I do feel, however, that the 2013 will be that much of an upgrade, that I'm seriously considering it. What I may end up doing, is trying to wait for the swan song (anticipating that there will be a gap between the R35 and R36), pick up the last iteration of the R35, keep the '09 CBA, and wait for the R36.

Thanks for the revision update as stated above. You have a tough decision since you already own a 2009. I might be inclined to hold on to it for a really major body update possibly in the R36 (like an R34 vs R35). I just couldn't see upgrading to a 2013 since it still looks virtually identical to the 2009 model which is still 5 years new.

"Wow, honey was that a jet that just passed us at 200 mph?"

"No dear, that was the new R36 GT-R! They really should put a speed limit on this damn Autobahn!"

I totally agree with this. I was on the fence about getting a 2012 or waiting for a 2013 allocation from Boulder, but thoughts of what might be tweaked for 2013 didn't stop me from pulling the trigger last week on a 2012 I really liked. There will always be those people that will call that foolish, but there will always be speculation about what's next and at some point you have to get off the bench and into the game.

I've been reading that the 570HP Version will be the Spec R. Gonna be even a higher price than a Spec V

the base GTR will still be 530HP.

I was just checking nissan japan's website... there are no mentioning on the Spec V anymore. So I guess its discontinued?
