Some questions GTR/2009's

Okay.. I was very against a gtr.. Only because i really wanted stick, and didnt care too much for its looks,, anyway it has really grown on me and even more than a porsche for now(the added space in rear seats is a plus for now) It also is "newer" and less seen.. anyway,

My friend has a pretty insane gtr.. he told me that you can easily program/(or replace) ecu? On the 09's and up to have same performance as the 12's? Is this true?

Im just looking at where to start.. I def do not want to buy new, and I have been looking for 09's w low mileage.. (on my 07 335i i only had 18,000 till it just got rear ended and totaled last oct.. ...
Is nissan planning to come out w a new design anytime soon?

Any help or simple info on these cars is greatly appreciated..

the engine and drivetrain are the same. there are some differences, suspension, better tune, running more boost,.....but you can get the 09's power up to 12's pretty easy.

The best place to learn all of this would be on the nagtroc boards.

My opinion, if you're going to heavily mod it, get an 09.
