Test drove a Gtr

My buddy was gracious enough to allow me to drive his gtr! WOW!! I was blown away by how this car performs! It utterly amazed me how hard his car pulled and never seemed to stop...I mean this would destroy my 997tt when I had just a tune and exhaust! His car is running stock turbos with a full exhaust system and a dyno tune basically...The sound of the exhaust on a gtr is intoxicating as well!I know the gtr is a newer car, but the technology just blew away the 997...For a car this heavy to move this fast was amazing! I also got to watch the airstrip run today and I must say the the Gtr's were the shining star! The big hp gtr's pretty much crushed the competition!

Thanks Scott...I can't stop thinking how much fun that car was...Only problem is that it's going to be hard to keep my foot out of it!

Nissan really needs to put some of that technology into a new Z-car. The last turbocharged 300ZXTT was/is a great car with better looks IMHO and it can fly with the proper upgrades. Mine is at 549RWHP and 580TQ. I like the GTR, but really would like to see a sportier look like the old Z. See below: :-)

Greg's 300ZXTT from Specialty Z can run low 9's w/o NOS in the 1/4 mile. Faster than any Porsche I have seen so far.

I wish Nissan would make a twin turbo Z again.

Now imagine you driving a Switzer tuned GT-R?

You may have to get one to compliment your Switzer 997

Skeeter get one have it modded by Switzer and enjoy them both, they are quite different I can't pick one over the other.

Skeeter, you should definitely try one of the Switzer GTR's back to back with your 997TT build. I just picked up ours from them yesterday after an update to the P800 we already had.. Such a difference from the Turbo, but both uniquely amazing! Just kick it sideways, keep your foot in it, and watch it keep accelerating!!!
