DGDDS91 is infamous around these parts
Drove my car all day today on short trips without any issues. Last time I got in the car the car was accelerating very jerky almost like I was giving it gas and then not giving it gas but my foot was steady on the pedal. The Rpms showed the same. After about ten minutes of trying to drive it out, the car was responding normally again. Any ideas? I thought maybe bad gas? Thanks Dan Sent from my iPhone using 6SpeedOnline

Would check and see with an OBD 2 reader if it threw any fault codes

If you can't read the computer, similar to your theory, eliminating the possibility would be my first recourse.

Or you can clean the throttle in the meantime also.

I've had this happens t me in my 06 997S once a few months ago. In my case it was a very hot day and I parked the car on an errand in the 100 degree heat for 20 minutes. I came out and the bucking you described happened. I happened to be just a few blocks from my Indy so I had hm check it out. No codes ran fine for him. He thought it had to do with the heat causing the pressure in the fuel tank to increase. It's been fine ever since.

Well known issue. Had the same thing happen to my -06 C4S a number of times. Never lasted long and always went away by itself. Not even my service advisor could give me a good answer as to what's causing it and I never saw a good explanation elsewhere either. Only speculation.

Ghost in the machine. Haven't had this for years now. Fwiw I switched to Shell gas and has not returned but this could be superstitious behavior on my part. Best to just shrug and forget about it imo.

I have had the same issue on our Cayenne more than once, but only once on the Carrera and with both vehicles it occurred just after start up.

Did the throttle reset as described, got Mobil gas and have been driving for more than a week with no further occurrences! I guess I am chalking it up to a random glitch. Car is running great right now. I love this car! Thanks for all the responses! Dan
