'14 GTR - Not a Fan So Far
Gtr
Just a heads up when you go that route make sure the tune has a flex fuel capability without any adjustments on your part and whatever ECM you choose make sure also that it will support your future mods say you want to go full build (minimum 800 awhp) without buying a new ECM. Compare and do a good reasearch there's plenty to choose out there or interview current owners. Good luck.

I respect your decision on that so what's the next toy gonna be?
GTR is amazing for the numbers, personally I think it's the standard for all car companies when it comes down to price and how hard it rocks when modded.
I drove one and it doesn't stir my soul like my Porsche or NSX does, both modified. I admit it does look better in person and it does command a presence if you like cars. One of the funniest cars I drove was a old school 964 Porsche, you had to control it and the feed back was great.
The value of life can be measured by how many times your soul has been deeply stirred.

I love Nissan, worked for Corporate, owned many Nissans. I like the GTR it's a great performer on the track. But I'm sorry I was reading through and saw this comment and I would have to strongly disagree with you I think the GT3 looks far better than a GTR. I know I will get slack for this but the GTR doesn't have the same presence as the GT3 does. The design just doesn't give me the Supercar feel.
I agree and have a funny (to me) story.. A group of buddies rented VIR this Feb. and we all decided to drive down from West Virginia. In the group we had a Stasis Challenge series V-10 R-8, GT3-RS 4.0, Viper, GT-3 and my GTR. Every pit stop we made kids lined up around the GTR and wanted to talk about it. I would always laugh and ask them if they knew what the P car was or if they had read anything about the Stasis Audi they would always look at me like I was stupid and keep walking around the car.

Your kids will grow up dreaming to own one someday. Mine are...
At least they've experienced one.
I've had tuner cars for years. My experience has been mixed. My best experience, by far, was Kleemann. Also had a great experience with Lingenfelter. Their products and service were spot on. My last tuner cars were from Evoms. They built my GT2 and Cayenne. It was a 2 year nightmare and cured me of the mod bug. I spent over $100k with them and couldnt even get an email returned. It's a long story. After I got rid of those cars I swore "never again".
evo650,
It is so easy to get a mild tune on a GTR. $2,000 get 70 at the wheels.$ 5,000 get 150 at the wheels.
I would never mod any other car because of your night-mares .
a P-600 is a 150 at the wheels but SBD will do it for tons less money.

I think I remember your Cayenne... wasn't it a blue magnum they built with their 750 kit or something in it.... I believe you sold the car now... but what was wrong with it? I was thinking of doing that kit to my Magnum but passed after I thought long and hard about it....
It was tectite grey. Didn't have any issues at all with the Cayenne. It ran strong and was very reliable. Only issue I had was the lack of communication from EVOMS. The project took 8 months instead of a month and getting a hold of them was impossible. I sold it, after 2+ years, because I was ready to move on.
The real issue I had with them was with my GT2 but that's a long story.
I bought a G63 about a month ago. It's with Kleemann and they're using it to develop parts. I've known the guys at Kleemann for years and they're local to me. They're buy far the best tuner that I've worked with and the only ones that I trust 100%.
