Our friend and dealer Bernd from GTRstore.eu just got back from the GTboard event. Sadly he was not able to run the Veyron or the Agera as they wanted no part of him once they saw him beat the S1000R that they both lost to.

Gustav (passenger) and Sophie (driver) went out for a friendly run. They tried to jump the gun on the ALPHA 12 to see if they could better their odds.

As for me I am a car enthusiast. I appreciate all the time, capital, money, and dedication a manufacturer put in their car. I am thrilled when I jump in a small, medium, large, sports, exotic, American muscle, German Autowegen, and or even African if a car manufacturer emerges in Africa in near future. It does not matter to me.

I enjoy all the gadgetry, technology, amenities, and so on each different type vehicle has to offer. I do not discriminate and to an extent that is the true spirit of a Car Enthusiast.

A car enthusiast does not require a person to spend exorbitantly on a 100K-2.5 million super exotic. A true car enthusiast can be a 22 years old young man who finally completed his project on a Honda that started 5 years ago. An enthusiast is a person who possess the love of the car that would spend countless hours of sweat and hard work. A true car enthusiast is someone who strive for the best within their means.

So next time when you come to a stop light next to a tricked out civic, try giving them a thumbs up in stead of trail of dust. You will see the greatest joy of being a true car enthusiast is when people truly respect you instead of suggesting that you are compensating for having a below average extremities.

I remember how great it felt like I was sixteen all over again when a sixteen years old replica copy of you giving you the thumbs up. I felt even more alive when I re-live the time when I finally finished my Mid 12 second Intergra Type R. I am now one with my car, my 8.7 Second, 189MPH quarter mile GTR.

Please post video of this world record pass, 17 mph faster trap than Omega! Wow!! Where have you been hiding this monster? That's some kind of imagination you've got there. Let me guess, the 22 year old Honda driver you mentioned is actually you.

 

Not entirely correct info. The Bugatti beated the S1000r. And the Agera was not present the day when the Alpha12 were running. But its true the Veyron did not want to race the GT-R. The Alpha 12 sure is a monster. It would be fun to see it agains the Agera! I think it would put up to a great fight.,Looking at how it totally demolished the veyron.

 

I was suggesting that driving a Ferrari or a Lamborghini doesn't make you a Formula 1 driver. Majority of the exotic car owners are not what you called a car enthusiast. So most of them are sold on the idea that owning a Ferrari or a Lamborghini automatically makes then the "King of the road."

How many times have you seen someone of that "Stature" taking their time talking to youngster who gather around their car idolizing it. Majority of these exotic car owner barely know how to drive it because they don't. I've met a gentleman from Las Vegas at a car meet who racked up 50,000 miles on his Bugatti Veyron.

 

It never gets old seeing these Alpha cars just speeding past the competition, puts a everytime, even if your the one loosing the race...haha gotta love their reaction

 

I do not have to prove to the entire world that my build is, or capable of achieving record breaking time. I do not own a tuning shop nor do I manufacture performance parts. I have no need to build and rape a fine masterpiece and later sell it to recuperate the money I put into the project.

Showcasing my project that I spent nearly two years on it is pointless nor have the time to haul her around, over boosting her to win trophies (almost like a pimp and ho relationship). What I have dropped in it is insane (250K+ 95K for the GTR) but it is really worth every penny. Bored and stroked 4.2L mated with Full Dodson Ultimate transmission build and plus a list of mods that is four pages long is more than capable of breaking records. It took a lot of talented people and shops in the making and you know who you are (tipping my hat). I can easily picked up a LP-670 but not my cup of tea. I am not so worried about my department or extremities from waist down. I have a super hot wife, a lovely baby boy, and a comfortable home. Blowing away 99.9 percent of the cars out there on the track or street is pretty rare.

So please save your breath because your opinion means nothing to me.

 

So your car hasn't gone 8.7 @ 189? That's exactly what I knew. It takes a lot more than 910whp (or 950) to get anywhere close to that in a GTR. If you put money into carbon parts to save weight and then fully dynamat the car, completely negating the weight savings, it makes it even harder.

If you did spend $345,000 building a "potential record" setting GTR that was sent to "all the best shops in the country" and you only have 950 whp then you got seriously ripped off. Your whole "enthusiast" definition is a complete contradiction to the garage queen you may or may not own.

A few more tips.

1. Novitec Rosso is a German Ferrari tuner. Novitech is a Florida VAG tuning shop.

2. It's Aventador, not Avantador.

Excellent AudiBull, you are very knowledgeable with cars. Do you want a cookie, trophy, or a medallion for your post above? Thank you for looking out but I really think you should concentrate on your own life and stop worrying about others. Most of the record breaking GTR's are right around the 38 PSI boost. Let's just say the numbers where off the chart when we had her running on C16 at 32 PSI. There are more than a handful of people suggested that I should go for the record and I kindly declined with a smile on my face.
