Anyone selling 996TT twist wheels?

Anyone selling their 996TT turbo twist wheels? Preferably hollow spoke.
The widebody ones please (18x11, 18x8).

I'm looking to get these professionally powder coated to tide me over while I continue to struggle with aftermarket wheel choices.

Let me know what you have avaialble.
Sharky perhaps??

Thanks!
Jon

I will be soon but they're chrome. I guess they can be powder coated.

Nice. I'm not either, but I plan to powder coat over them anyway. Hope it's not more difficult to prep.

Hey did you check out this thread in the wheels/tires forum? Looks like this guy is selling his 2003 (OEM??) wheels from his Turbo, but he claims they are 19"...strange I thought all 996s came with max 18" from the factory. Might wanna check, as the price isn't bad and he's looking for a quick sell.

Thanks for the heads up. Really looking for a set w/o tires to minimize the costs (additional tire cost, dismounting them, etc), but I replied asking about the 19" stockers lol

From chrome to powder coat is just an extra task of sand blasting them down to remove that chrome and then cleaning them up for powdercoating...

I thought sand blasting was required either way. Chrome probably involves a bit more blasting though huh?

And are the "shiny" 996TT wheels really chrome? or are they just high polished?

I have a set from my 996TT. It's got the original Pirelli's still on them with less than 1000 miles. It's not chrome. What would you pay for them?

unfortunately, since these would be my 'mess around with' wheels, probably not top dollar. Also my preference is w/o tires since I already have some (with tires is fine, but I wouldn't pay much for them being included).

They will use a different stone or sand for this process. A lighter grit as to not take off material on the wheel.
