Went for a drive today down HWY 1...
Great day for a drive. Went down Hwy 1 to Davenport and back. Saw a few other Porsche's and M3's with the same idea. Took it easy, too much traffic to really let it out, but a fun day none the less.
However, when I returned home and turned on the news it appears that there where 2 separate bicycle v. car (one fatal) accidents on 2 of the local back roads that are favorites for group drives. One on Stevens Creek Road, just south of Ricardo Road the other was near La Honda, west of 280.
It's tragic of course and I know we all try to share the road with cyclists when out on group drives but I'm wondering if these two incidents in close proximity will increase patrols in these areas and possibly result in a crackdown.
Any thoughts on the subject?
