Was looking to go to Sausalito this weekend. Where is a good place to park exotic cars?

never a good place to park anywhere any time . look in zeldas parking lot just twards mill valley or go to tiberion (mispelled). no matter what look for an end spot....

 

^+1...there is no safe place and watch out for this guy....he hates Porsches

 

When I go there, I don't park at the parking lots. I usually find a quiet street and do parallel parking; they are usually pretty big.

 

Shoot, i was hoping there was a good place to valet cars =/

there are a couple of places in Tiburon that have valet parking but I'm not sure you want to use them for an exotic...I didn't mind letting them park my Lexus but wouldn't want to trust them with the GT3...

 

In the Sausalito downtown there is a large public parking lot, and behind that lot is a restaurant towards the water.

There are always a few guys there on W/E's parking cars for restaurant patrons.

You can make a deal with them for $10- or more, and they'll provide a good spot and you park your car and take the keys but they will keep an eye on it.

I have done that. It's worth it.

There are also some very large spaces at the aisle ends and corners where you can safely park as well. There is one space there that is isolated that comes vacant some times.

 

i parked once with the valet at horizons. the guy was pretty cool. i parked it myself near their booth and took it out myself. they never even drove it. lol. i left a $10 tip.

 

Is Horizons the restaurant behind that large public lot?

It's the lot adjacent to the Sausalito Ferry Terminal just S of Gabrielson Park along the water.

It's slightly N. of your point "A".

 

guess i'm way to old when i was a kid my dad took me there to catch a charter boat. it was not the horizon then..... but we did catch salmon once out side the bridge....that town has change can also remember my mom taking rug hooking lessons across the street (still have the braded rugs) bet that space is worth $3000.00 or$4000.00 amonth now
