have 01 996tt am gettin old and lost interest in the great motor sound(thats all i cared about in my prestroke days now i wanna here some tunes need some good ideas what can i ad to my stock sys an amp?

 

depends how extreme you want to go really...
Most basic improvements would be something like replacing all the factory speakers with higher output/quality aftermarket ones, replacing the factory head unit with a nicer aftermarket unit and possibly an aftermarket amp to drive the new speakers if you need that much wattage. Possibly a standalone subwoofer too, if you're into heavy bass. If you're an audiophile, the sky's pretty much the limit for a full custom system to match your needs.

Rod did my install with sirius satellite. the new kenwood head units can be colormatched to the amber interior. fantastic intall and customer service. couldn't be happier. you can see their ad in the back of excellence mag. there is a pic of rod's 2002 996 and stereo in the ad and many more on their website. all of the above made it a no-brainer as to who was going to put their hands on my ride.
