My father and I are going to take the 911 for a 3-4 day road trip starting from San Jose end of April. I have some ideas but looking for suggestions...

- Suggested/interesting driving routes
- Good roads to hit on the way
- Recommended destinations

Head North on CA-1
- scenic drive and you will pass many scenic towns
- where CA-1 meets CA-101, you can go to the place that you drive thru a big Redwood tree
- continue north to Cresent City, not much to see but well known for Tsunami
- head east thru the Redwood National Park to I-5, stay overnight

Around the Cali and Oregon boarder:
- visit Crater Lake
- visit Harry & David Orchard, get some delicious pears
- visit Mount/Lake Shasta (do this for the 3rd day if you do a 4-day trip, skip if a 3-day trip)

Day 3 or 4
- drive back
