My first DE event is schedule for May 25th - May 27th.

Have you been there before? Any lodging recommendations either good or bad would be appreciated.

Have fun! I went to Buttonwillow about 10 years ago for a DE event. It was a fun track (not much hills as I recall). I can't remember which motel I stayed at but it was one of those right along the edge of I-5 near the Denny's. I'm guessing they're all pretty much the same.

Are you going to try some of our more local tracks in the future (e.g. Laguna Seca, Infineon)?

 

I'm doing this event, and similarly interested in lodging options. I'll be driving up from Orange County, though.

do not stay at button willow, you will be very sorry if you do.
if you come up form south, stay bakersfield.
if you go down from north, stay harris ranch.
i mean it seriously. bed bug and smell of death in EVERY hotel of the button willow stop.
