The best annual car gathering is upon us again. If you are anywhere within range of Monterey, you should definitely try to make it down there this weekend. Here are some pictures. As usual, the parking areas and roads have more exotic cars compared to most car shows.

First stop is the Porsche Zentrum for some test driving. Pretty nice "exhibit tent" by Porsche:

Holy Shmoly!! A 918 in the wild in CA!!? Closest I've seen is the 997 Turbo "918 Edition" down in Los Gatos. That's so cool. Would have loved to have seen that.

Yes, the 918 was very cool. It was test driven quite a lot from the Porsche Zentrum at Quail. Even got to say "hello" to Jay as he drove the car out.

Yes it's a problem when work interferes with our "other passion"
We had a great time for the three days that we were at Monterey.

When I left the Museum today, just after 1 PM, there were close to 400 guests that had made the "pilgrimage"...hope see you, and other 6speeders, soon.

The next Cars and Coffee is Sunday, Sept 1st.
Only 289 vehicles were at the August event
My favorite of those was the Dwarf VW.
