SF Bay area sightings thread!
I wish it were that simple but it's not just a check engine light. It's an engine failure light. The car will not run or start. Luckily I have this cool set up with a key chain remote control. I can change between ECU management programs with the push of a button.
I see, interesting.
Saw a white GT-R yesterday in Concord I-680. I told my daughter it is faster than a stock 911TT and she replied... "which car, I don't see it". I guess she was expecting to see a car like Lambo or F-cars. GT-R blends in with the crowd so well.
I don't blame them, I bet the cost per mile on the Murci is quite high.
Gas Mileage on Murcielago is about 8 mpg city / 13 mpg highway.$$$$........

Saw a 08 Black Tesla on my way from school.
I can imagine that if you used anything with a v-10 or v-12 as a daily you would always be at the gas station. Kinda makes me wonder for some of these super cars if people would object to 'turning off' some of the cylinders (not putting gasoline in them to fire) and run off six or five instead, especially places such as the highway where you don't change your speed much and turn them back on when you need them.

damnit...i'm jealous. I'd love to see a tesla out there on the road. Love those things.
so far i've only seen a truck hauling a trailer that said tesla motors all over it.

). She let us drive it if we promised to be careful. The car felt a little different from your regular gasoline car in the sense you could not take your foot of the gas and 'coast'. To conserve energy, as soon as you take your foot off the accelerator a generator kicks in to help recharge the battery from your inertia. It had quite a lot of pick up when you pushed it and the handling was very nice. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v1...05-08_1111.jpg
Unfortunately I was the passenger in this shot, another student was driving. Hopefully one of these days I could be an intern for them during the summer when I get more classes completed in my degree.
