Ok, I live about 5 min away from Spring Mount. It's a local ski/snowboard spot that has night skiing/snowboarding. Rates are $22 after 4. Only 8 trails, but it's not a bad place to practice up on the skills before hitting the Pocono's. Any interest? We could meet up @ my crib, have a few drinks and head over. I "think" they have a bar there too, but I can confirm prior to us going. There are a few dive bars in the area we can hit up too.

I know, it's not huge, but again it's a pretty chill place to ride. During the week it's usually pretty slow so you can get in a ton of runs.

I have an old board that you can use. It's set up for goofy foot right now, and it's kinda old, but it's still a twin tip and has a decent set of bindings. I'll tune it up in case you wanna use it. It's a Sims CD 156cm. Decent board. You can rent from the mountain OR there's a small shop down the street that also has rentals. Or, if you happen to be a size 8.5 shoe I "might" have an old pair of boots too. Can't remember if I threw those out or not.

 

I am in but wont be able to get over there til later in the day (during the week) but a "Happy Hour" snowboarding treck is a GREAT IDEA Chris!

I also have an extra board (Joyride 148 w/morrow bindings) and two pairs of boots (both size 12 though)

Does Thursday the 15th work for you all???

It's funny you ask cause I was thinking the same thing. I'll stop by this weekend to make sure. Pretty sure they have all trails open @ this point, but can't be 100% sure of the conditions.
