Porsche Driving Experience

After hearing Jason and Larry's stories of the fabulous times they had at the Porsche Driving Experience, I had to go! I am signed up to go on May 7/8. A friend I met in Germany this fall will be there and doesn't know I will be there too - will be a fun surprise and fun time! I am so excited. Has anyone else gone and have experiences to share?

Congratualations, Greta. You're going to LOVE it! I'll have to give you a list of instructors to say hi to! They're all cool guys and obviously VERY passionate about their jobs.

Not Germany it's in Atlanta or something. Have fun.

I get a Porsche driving experience everytime I drive with these crazy bastards on 6 speed.

I really enjoy watching them go crazy from waaaayyyyy in the back on these drives.

Hahaha...like that one time when I evaded that park ranger, right?

Actually, the PDE or PSDS (Porsche Sport Driving School) is in Birmingham, AL at Barber Motorsport Park. It used to be at Road Atlanta, in Atlanta, GA.

Actually did Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Northern Italy with a motocade of Porsche's this fall. It will be hard to top that - like a track that went on for a week. Drove at 170mph on the autobahn and maintained it for about 30 miles straight. See the article in this month's Spiel that my husband and I submitted. To see this track go to the www.Porsche.com website and link to the Porsche Sport Driving - you can watch video of the Porsche Driving Experience. Jason's links on 6speed tell the story too like no other.

You must but I've never seen your car do over 65mph. If you weren't moding it 29 of 31 days a month we might see you more on the ice cream drives. Don't worry this year we plan Lattes' in Walla Walla.

Jody - to be honest there wasnt much speeding going on when we were going to drop off the toys - traffic. But on the way back I think me and the two italiano's were having some fun right Mark and Ben.

Mark - my goal is to have the car comlpleted by the end of Feb mid March and then Ill try to leave her alone - ILL TRY

I've Heard in March they are coming out with a GT2000 package. I'm sure we won't see the Black Bomber on the road until Mid-July when that sucker hits the shelves

Done PDE twice. Once in Sebring and once in Birmingham, AL. It's worth every penny! Can't wait to go again. The track in Birmingham is world class and so are the instuctors. It will make you never want to drive your car on a public road again! Spoils you. Have fun!
