It used to be really good but I guess BMW drivers are slower these days. I almost fell asleep at one point.
It was fun, some guy tossed me the keys to his 335 so he could switch me places and go for a ride in Jason's car.

I don’t blame him! A 997 turbo is like 6 flags with the right driver.

Well, I'm glad I missed this one. I got to see my niece. She was born about 18 hours ago. My brother is the father. 2nd kid. Magical evening.

I'll be at Pacific Raceways for the next two days. At 3pm Tuesday we have a race. Feel free to stop by and check it out. It is our first official race. Should be 8 of us. All in school cars.

I look forward to joining a few drives this spring.

Take care,

Trevor

Carlos can certainly attest to that one.

Haha, wow, brutal. Sorry today's drive wasn't up to the 6speed standards. Given the size and driving experience of the group (and the horrendously litigious society we live in), BMW Club drives are more about the view than ripping it up and down people's residential roads. I guess the ideal drive is balanced on a knife-edge between BMW Club drives and DTM Power drives.

For those of you that did have fun, I'm glad you came out and enjoyed the scenery and the company. The parade laps around the track were slower than I was anticipating, but hey, it was better than nothing.

Hey Troy, thanks again for leading us on the drive. I noticed that I was having much more fun when following both you and Matt during the second leg so at least that part was fun for me. I knew that it was much "slower" than the usual 6speed outing but I had forgotten how much slower. Don't worry, I still had fun. My favorite part was the parade lap because that was my first time on Pacific Raceway! I see why you guys like that track now. I think that the 3rd lap for me was the fastest because you guys started to speed up a little bit. I can't believe that house is so close to Turn 8!!!

In all fairness, the CCA North Cascade Highway run was pretty fun! It was priceless when matt lets me drive and then we start doing some spirited driving, he was pissed!

That's funny...he was pissed when he let me drive too. I guess he doesn't like anyone's driving but his own. I scared him when I made that blind pass.

Ya I really liked that third lap too Jason. And the drive did get better as it went on so it wasn't all that bad. It was ok But I should Definitly start keeping my traction control on it those tight up hill twistys!
