The autox probably should have been put in a new thread rather than take this one over..

also...if we get to the bmwcc event and we truly have too many, perhaps we can split off and do our own drive? just an idea.

What's wrong with using your M5? It is a BMW drive after all.

maybe... I am trying to get good husband credits...

so I can spend those credits in the better weather months...

maybe I can swing it... I am leaving town tomorrow and coming back late Friday night (work -- going to the wood products convention in Portland -- any of you going? It is sema for loggers and timber companies)

So being gone a couple days and coming home for a day and taking off again for Sunday... that is spending good husband credits and right now I need to bank them!!!

I will float the idea tonight after she goes to sleep and then tell her on Sunday that we already talked about it

We'll see... it could happen...

You need to flip me some of your cards. EVERY single day I am in 6-8 different shops that have at least 2 for trucks. My one customer I was at today have at least 10 at just 1 of their local 3 warehouses.

call me I may have a contact for you

Ok, here's the game plan.

Say that you have to stay in Portland until late sunday. Come back on saturday and get a hotel room, pay cash then come out early in the morning =P

The only way this could backfire is if you pay for the hotel with debit or someone that knows you and your wife, see's you going in or out of the hotel.

Trust me...my dad is on his 6th wife and does this stuff all the time, what could go wrong?

(the only serious statement in this post is the fact that my old man is really working on his 6th marriage)

Does this mean that he is currently married to his 5th wife and "working" on his 6th? Or,

Does this mean he is married to his 6th and really "trying" to stay committed?

I think the first option is much "more funnier."

About the drive. I love to come gang. I am planning on going over the mountains Saturday to Sunday. If the passes take a turn for the worse (I'm not taking the Black Car!) I'll stay on this side and try to catch up with you.

It would be great to set up a couple of F1 get togethers around town in the coming months.

Jensen Button's gonna win it this year I can feel it!!

Who was it that said he should stick to being in a brit boy band? Raikkonen has a good car, game over! He was fast in the McLaren even when it was blowing up. I want to see Schumacher back driving with Kimi. That would be the ultimate race.

Well at least we know you aren’t driving it like a granny. Defiantly pushing components to the limit. I’m seeing used OE complete swap out units for 350-600. That would get you by if you wanted to rebuild yours. Let me know if you want a second set of hands, or a shop with a lift.

I'm pretty comfy in my garage, air tools, impact wrench and The PunjaStig. I've got some guiness that needs some attention.

It's all up on jackstands right now. I'm getting a head start on the tie rods and rear trailing arm bushings so I can still get it aligned on saturday (it's still drivable...but I'm only taking it down the road for an alignment).

I have a friend shipping me another diff for $275 shipped.

I'm Also taking this as an opportunity to do urethane subframe and diff bushings.

Feel free to drop by this saturday, I'm pulling out my diff and rear subframe and pressing out the old bushings on saturday.

Anyone else got an open seat in their car for breakfast/sunday shenanigans?
